Better lay the law down now and go through a bit of hell instead of letting her run things for a while and then trying to change her.
If you can't do that, buy another TV.
Wildwoman has her own HDTV in her bedroom and I have the one in the Living room and another in my bedroom.
I am newly married (oct. 20th) and my wife knows that there are certain things I won;t bend on.
Football is one of them.
If football is on TV, she will simply get up, give me a kiss, and say "i'll be in the other room watching TV.
Heck, she even came with me to a sports bar in the small beach town the day after we got married to watch the game with myself and my friends.
It was painful at first, as there were a few fights at the beginning of our relationship, but they have paid off now!!!
Mar, LOL!
Who really gets to lay down the law with a woman/wife.
If you don't know that the women wear the pants, then you are not being honest with yourself.
I think making your wants and needs known early in the relationship (b4 marriage) is the only way to go.
If a person doesn't be honest about ones football needs b4 marriage, then they are just as much to blame as the other person in the relationship who doesn't understand why you won't watch figure skating with them anymore.
LOL!
Good one my friend.

This almost sounds passive aggressive. If football is on TV, she will simply get up, give me a kiss, and say "i'll be in the other room watching TV.

Thread Derailed.......... Back on track.......
I do have a concern about the comments on the Center position.
Anyone remember that Cook might be a better center than a RT, along with Moses, whom Mar mentioned in his post.
I am in charge of things she trusts me with and I get to have the TV in the living room for all sports.

That is great that you truly understand each other in that way.
After watching my parents separate after 45 years of marriage, it makes you rethink things.

They are adults.
We are all ultimately responsible for our own decisions.
I was just imparting wisdom on a comment that could have been taken the wrong way by the Young'ns on the site.

Re: 2008 Senior Bowl Practice - NFL Network
I don't know what day it was, but Chris Williams from Vandy really stood out in the pass blocking portions, his footwork and technique, everything McKinnie can never be...
He is small, with the frame to add bulk (6'6" 260), but with our ZB scheme we should be looking at smaller lineman.
heres a link to his scouting report

Okay this is going out on a limb, and of no relation to this thread, but if we could get him (or anyone) and develop them into our LT and move Mount McKinnie to the right, our pass blocking might not look so awful. Do we really want Mckinnie protecting our QB's blindside for the next 5 years?

Re: 2008 Senior Bowl Practice - NFL Network
I was watching the practices today and that Cromartie kid looks awfully good maybe we could get him in a later round.
If he has the football IQ of his cousin he would be worth the pick.
None of the QBs for the south looked very good at all today but being from Kentucky I would say Tamme would be worth a gamble also given his great hands-
tight end or in the slot.In matters of style swim with the current, in matters of principle stand like a rock

That might have been the case 5 years ago but if you look at things like the "Short Shuttle", "Three Cone" and 40 yard times of our OL you will find they are all faster than the guys that Denver started the year with last year.I don't know what day it was, but Chris Williams from Vandy really stood out in the pass blocking portions, his footwork and technique, everything McKinnie can never be...

Everybody is bigger, better, faster these days.
The age of a OL being able to play in this league if he is under 300lbs is gone.
By the way, our OL are doing well with the ZB scheme.
Second year in a row they were at the top of the league in most rushing stats.
Our issues on the OL are when they try to switch between passing to running or running to passing plays. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Last night, I caught the interview with Singletary.
He is a riot.
The commentators were high on this kid who was a replacement player.

When they start talking about WRs, I listen.
