    Re: 2008 NFL Draft Sleepers

Here is another stud DE that should keep us from reaching for one in the first round:

    Rudolph Hardy, DE, Howard

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...php?pyid=73856

02/05/08 - Texas vs. The Nation Review: DE Rudolph Hardie (Howard)-Good closing speed shown in practice all week, even though he had a free run on his sack on Saturday. Not a weak pass-rush specialist at 270 pounds, Hardie can go through tight end or tackle blocks to attack runners near the line.
He had 9.5 sacks last year!

    Re: 2008 NFL Draft Sleepers

This guy is an intriguing project player.

    Trevor Scott, DE, Buffalo

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...php?pyid=16337

We was a TE who converted to DE last year and had 9 sacks.
He runs a nice 40 at 4.59, but he is only 259 lbs and very raw.
At 6'5 he has the frame to add weight as our coaches teach him the ins and outs of being a pro DE.

    Another project:

    SS/OLB Derrick Doggett, Oregon State

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...php?pyid=15363

    Draft Scout Snapshot: 14 GP; 14 GS; 87 TT, 14.5 TFL, 5 SK, 3 INT, 2 PBU, 1 QBH, 1 FF; Pac-10 Conference’s Second Team in '06. 11 GP; 0 GS; 42 TT, 4 TFL, 1 INT, 1 QBH, 1 FF, 1 BLK in '05. 10 GP; 0 GS; 13 TT, 1 PBU, 1 QBH, 2 BLK in '04. Redshirt in '03.
He could pull a Michael Boulware and move to safety or put on some weight and play OLB.
I prefer the latter if he can maintain his speed and weight around 230 lbs.
Look at his stats, he is a playmaker.

    Re: 2008 NFL Draft Sleepers

    Chris Horton, SS, UCLA

    http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...php?pyid=15570

    13 GP; 13 GS; 95 TT, 5 TFL, 3 INT, 4 PBU, 1 QBH, 2 FF
Another safety that could be a late round steal.

    Steve Johnson, WR, Kentucky

Kentucky’s Keenan Burton has great size and legit timed speed. However, he struggles to separate, every ball he catches seems like it is contested and he has had his share of drops. Despite all the hype Burton has received, it has been less-heralded teammate Steve Johnson who has emerged as Andre ÂÂ*Woodson’s go-to guy, having caught game-winning TDs vs. Louisville and LSU. He is a raw junior-college transfer with a lot of untapped potential and has gradually shown improvement this season. It would not be a surprise if Johnson is drafted before Burton based on his upside.

There are some longer game highlights from last year on youtube as well.

LOL, a guy nicknamed "Stump" led Auburn in tackles last year?
Here is a link to a breakdown of Auburn DT, Joshua Thompson:

    No kidding.
It is hard to find a lot of game footage on any player unless they are a first rounder.
