Re: 2007 NFL Mock Draft Picks
I like the fact that we're going to draft Calvin Johnson, but I think that mock drafts are way too premature at this point. Bowl games can have a HUGE impact on what happens at the draft. Just look @ what happened to Quinn and Russell the other night. One dropped and the other rose based upon one performance. Add to that fact that you still have the Senior Bowl to evaluate AND free agency to get past and you don't have much to go on at this point.
I think mock drafts are pointless right now.

Re: 2007 NFL Mock Draft Picks
Did you come up with this or did you find it on a website?
The reason I ask is because unless you think that some good players (Alan Branch, JaMarcus Russel) are going to have some really bad workouts or you think that some not top-quality players are going to have fabulous workouts then this mock draft is crap and I give a 8.9 on my crap-o-meter.
Mock drafts are useless this time of year because so much rides on workouts.
However, we're not in the playoffs so there isn't much else to do.When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

I found it on a website...and yes I know that they are useless...but for know its all that I have to work with.
I was hoping that you guys could come up with your own MOCK drafts to compare and contrast with.
Thats what this is for.
Thanks.

Adrian Peterson is probably a CAN'T MISS pick, so picking him #1 overall isn' t as bad as one might think.
I would be happy with Calvin Johnson...but he could end up being a bust for all we know.
I guarantee you...IF Adrian Peterson drops down to us, we would be crazy not to take him...and then find our WRs in FA or via trade!BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
