Thread: 2 people out there that would complete out roster

I have never been a fan of berrian. never will be a fan of berrian.

Malcom Floyd is very under rated. We could get him cheap and he is a great possesion/red zone threat. We have so many targets for the middle of the field i.e. peterson, havin (needs to play slot, not a good outside guy), shiancoe, hopefully Rudolph. we need guys on the outside. having Malcom floyd, Aromashodu, and greg camarillo rotate outside we will have a very young and talented outside, with even more promise in the futute. I think it is important to have Ponder get familiar with these guys before he is sent in and having guys locked up for a while will benefit us a ton.

Then Jonathan Joseph is a VERY good young corner. With Winfield getting older we need a guy that can replace him. our secondary is shaky. By cutting Berrian we free up tons of cap room and for a couple years we we have a very good cornerback tandem. With the safety class looking good next year we can draft one there and make out defense a very talented and yountg one with a good offense. Not to mention this will let cedric Griffen come back as a nickleback to give his legs time to get used to the speed of the game again. If he returns to form then we are golden

Seriously if we do these things I see a very bright future for us. We don't need to overpay for some of the older top free agents. Those are 2 very good ones not only talent but for the price.

I like the Floyd discussion, but don't think we need CB help. Even with Whinny aging, we have lots of young talent behind him. Its just the year we finally get to see them all healthy. (A bit of optimism there)

Regarding CB, we're apparantly looking at Fabian Washington

If we get Washington then I think that would suffice. Washington is an great athelete who hopefully could bring some Baltimore attitude to our secondary. However, I still like Jonathan Joseph better.

Winfield will play a lot of nickel this year.

If we're healthy we will be ok at corner. I still would like to see a safety replace Madieu.

Vikings are apparantly looking at Saints OT Jermon Bushrod.

I can't see them cutting McKinney, but maybe play Bushrod at RT and move Phil to RG? possibility.

I like the way you think. Push Phil inside and we could have one hell of a line if Sullivan could step up.
