Filipe has been contacted by the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers, though no team has committed to drafting him....

Re: 1st pick or last, any shot will do - Vikings contact Victor Filipe

I love reading about these kinds of guys.
I like to watch the draft, but I also look forward to seeing the list of 17 or so undrafted rookies the team snatches up right after the draft.

Man to sit in the warroom one time and see what goes on....

    Frazier:
    Well, its the 6th round.
    Filipe is still there.
    Can we take him?

Spielman: Naw, lets push it another round.
He might just slip out of the draft.

Frazier: Well, its the 7th round.
    Filipe is still there.
I don't want to lose this guy.

    Spielman:
    He is gonna go undrafted.
Just be patient. Only 3 other teams looked at him and they all took DTs.
Feel free to call him as soon as the last pick is made.

    Always remember and never forget.
Just cause you don't know his name don't mean he can't play ball.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

So very true even the experts can miss some talent out there.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

So are you saying Spielman might just "screw the pooch" if another team picks him up in the 7th & he's the S.O.D.?

    LOL. Well played my friend.
    ;D

Its all a roll of the dice.
If he did his homework and pays close attention to who visits whom and what players teams pick throughout the draft, we should never see a Clemens like fiasco.

Oh imagine the glory if we had successful drafted Kellen Clemens. Sure we are good but with Clemens we could be Jets-Good.

I like TJ now but in that point in time I really like Cutler and then Clemens.
Still think both will be good QB's in the NFL, but again, I like what TJ brings to the table right now.

Trading up for Cutler would have been so nice.
I was so angry about that. And Derrick Johnson the year before.

We take Derrick Johnson, then we take DeAngelo williams the year after instead of greenway and then don't take AD this year.

I wanted DJ too much for words, he's one of my favorites, so I try to justify not taking him with this bullshit logic.
