With their first pick of the draft, the Packers took Brian Brohm, as well as Matt Flynn later in the draft. The addition of two quarterbacks can not be taken as a vote of confidence for Rodgers. Either because of his injury history or what the coaches have seen in practice, the Packers are obviously not content with Rodgers. Now he really has his work cut out for him; he is coming in to replace one of the most prolific quarterbacks this league has ever seen, and if he stumbles all of Wisconsin will be calling for Brohm. Rodgers hasn't even taken a snap yet and there is already a quarterback controversy in Green Bay.
I totally disagree with that observation 100%. The fact that they didn't sign a veteran back-up tells me they have a lot of confidence in Rodgers.

You don't have to be a genius to figure out no way in hell does GB enter the season with only 1 QB & no backups.

It's a no-brainer that they were going to add two more QB's to the roster so they would have 3 QB's on it instead of 1. The fact that they went to the draft & added two QB's that are unexperienced at the pro level & will ride the pine this year while they learn the system., should show Rodgers that they have confidence in him.

If they didn't have it, they would have signed a vet from FA.
