I agree this could be our first of many road wins. This article talks about the series records and such.

Re: Vikings/Bengals Series
With a win here, we could surely quiet the critics some..
One: It was purely an off week for us last week and Two: If we win on the first road game, maybe they layoff on how they love to mention our sorry AZZ road record over the past few years..
This is a win we could use very badly....
I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

Re: Vikings/Bengals Series
I hate to say this so early in the season but this is a must win game for the Vikings. A road win would be huge for the players confidence and morale plus we can't afford to go 0-2 with the schedule only getting tougher.
Now I'm not saying that a loss would blow our entire season but, it certainly won't help.

Re: Vikings/Bengals Series
The Vikes will come in hungry and humiliated. They will want this game very badly. I predict that they will prove their critics wrong and improve the all-time Vikings-Bengals record to 6-4. Vikes 24, Bengals 14.
