Stats of the Week: Vikings
The Vikings 11 touchdowns on plays of 20+ yards is currently tied with Dallas for 1st in
the league. The Vikings 8 TD passes of 20+ yards ranks tied for 2nd.
* The Vikings defense has only allowed 8 passing touchdowns on the year, which ranks 4th
in the NFL and tied for 1st in the NFC.
* WR Bernard Berrian’s 20.2 yards per catch average ranks #1 in the NFL among receivers
with at least 30 receptions.
* Through 10 games the Vikings defense ranks #1 in the NFL in opponents 10+ play drives,
as they have only given up 10 drives of 10+ plays in 122 opponent possessions
* Minnesota’s defense ranks #1 in the league in limiting opponents’ runs of 10+ yards with
only 10 on the season. The Vikings have not given up a rushing TD of more than 10 yards.
* After allowing 25.8 yards per kickoff return through the fi rst 5 games of the season, a total that
ranked 28th in the NFL, the Vikings kickoff coverage unit has allowed just 18.8 yards per
return over the past 5 games. That average ranks 4th in the NFL during that time.

... the big holes in our team is fixed! We have the deep threat we needed and a strong defense overall. Only thing missing is a franchise QB and we'll be in the Super Bowl
