LAST TIME VS. PACKERS – The Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers 30-25 (9/7) to open the newly renovated Lambeau Field. Quarterback Daunte Culpepper completed 15 of 30 passes for 195 yards and 3
touchdowns and rushed for another 50 yards. Randy Moss had 9 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Moe Williams led the way on the ground with 80 yards. D’Wayne Bates and John Avery had the Vikings’ other touchdowns.
Kicker Aaron Elling converted all three of his field goal attempts (22,46,34).
The Vikings defense forced 5 turnovers including 4 interceptions off of Brett Favre. Corey Chavous had 2 interceptions and Brian Williams and Brian Russell each had one. Greg Biekert forced a fumble that Chris Claiborne recovered.
