LAST TIME VS. CHICAGO – The Vikings beat the Chicago Bears 25-7 (10/27/02) at the Metrodome.
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper completed 22 of 29 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown and also rushed 8
times for 31 yards. Michael Bennett led the way on the ground with 29 carries for 106 yards. Randy Moss led
the receivers with 9 catches for 119 yards and a touchdown. Moe Williams had the Vikings’ other touchdown.
Nick Davis returned a punt 57 yards for his career long. The Vikings’ defense held the Bears to 44 yards
rushing, had 6 sacks, 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery. Greg Biekert had an interception and recovered
a fumble. Fred Robbins recorded a safety when he tackled Anthony Thomas in the end zone.
