This is the best pick I could find of a formation

On the left side if the WR takes 2-3 steps in and the ball is out right away there is no way the LB can be there quick enough.. It's all on the corner.. A couple steps later the LB will be in position to make a tackle.. But as for coverage if you get the ball out fast enough it's not on the LB at all IMO

Of course I could be wrong and im just seeing teams hit us with the slants really fast and then our LBs are there to make a tackle

All the LB has to do is take 2 steps and he is in the passing lane my friend which takes away the quick pass.
Again, it isn't his job to run all the way out and help the CB.
Just get into the passing lane to obstruct things a bit.
And that is when they run a draw play up the middle, or bring the TE accross the field on a drag route, to keep the LB honest.
Did you see what Leslie did with JA when the PUKERS tried to do that last weekend?

Thing of beauty to watch a big man out in coverage.

    ;D
for someone who hates the packers so much, it seems you really go out of the way to emphasize their name
Discussing a great play by JA is emphasizing thier team name.
Hell, I think I go out of my way not to say or type their name my friend.

If you get rid of it quick there is no way the LB will be close..

So the way to beat the Bucs

Hit Berrian on some quick slants

Run the hell outta AP to keep them honest

And fire it deep with Berrian 1 on 1

Re: Jeff Garcia versus the Vikings

Im still just trying to see him if you hit a quick slant just a yard or two inside how the LB would be in the throwing lane

I can see it if it's not a quick slant and the route continues

    Otherwise no

The play in the game last week were Shanc and B-wade crossed in the middle is gonna be open alot against the bucs and the way they play D.

Also, I would assume that El Syd will be matched up in single coverage as well.
Some nice come back routes (if Gussy can throw them) will be deadly as well.

Re: Jeff Garcia versus the Vikings

Yah the way to beat the cover 2 is with quick slants and comebacks

Hit the seams too.. I dont think Gus can though

The LBs won't play a big role in this one for the Bucs unless they use them for blitzing

Re: Jeff Garcia versus the Vikings

Garcia is pretty good at taking care of the ball. Only 3 INTs and 5 sacks. He does not throw many TD passes (5). This should be good for us. It will be tough for them to beat us on the ground.

Re: Jeff Garcia versus the Vikings

    Should be a close one

I think we will give up some the Garcia

We are good in the redzone though so we will see if he can put some tight throws in there
