I tend to think that it's a good idea to wear a jacket in Minnesota on Dec. 31 during freezing rain and snow episodes.

I've been fortunate and have traveled extensively.
I'm at the point in my life now that travel doesn't thrill me anymore unless I am going there to work and be involved in the culture and with the people.
I enjoy everywhere I have lived, there are pros and cons everywhere.
There are nice people and asshats everywhere.
People are what make or break a place.
I've lived in places so remote that many wouldn't even believe the stories.
I just can't come up with one place that is my favorite though, I typically prefer places that are out of the ordinary.
