Great read, Gandalf, er Prophet. I love Tolkien too...Lucas ripped him off with that Star Wars thing.

I enjoyed spending time with Carl Eller, Alan Page, Stu Voight, Wally Hilgenburg, and a few others that I just spaced at a local BB event where I won the prize for selling the most tickets to the event.
Must have been cool...they were some of my heroes.

The first thing I'll do when they win the SB is probably just sit there in shock
Yeah, me too...after living through 4 SB losses, it's gonna be great to say we're the champs. ;D
I think they did a nice job with the movies from the trilogy.
It would be tough to have an appreciation of the movies if you haven't mapped out the books and tried to follow along with the writings beforehand.

I would have thought you'd have listed yourself as a "Full-time Dreamer".

    15) What’s your favorite food?

    I absolutely love to cook.
Have recipes that I've accumulated from my travels and can't say I have a favorite.
The unifying theme for my favorite dishes is the integration of spices.

Are you auditioning for the food network?
"The unifying theme for my favorite dishes is the integration of spices."

    lol( needed to add this)
lmao 6, I knew someone would comment on that.
I also see you are green dotted, congratulations!

    Thanks for sharing my friend.

    10) When you’re not on PPO what could you likely be found doing with your spare time?

    You just never know.
I'm either off on some tripped out excursion looking for some writing ideas or fly fishing or writing or doing some random crap.
I have a policy that I have to do something that I have never done every day.
    Interesting goal/policy.
    Spontaneous, planned or both?

    17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime?

Sail around the world with no time limit.
I will do it, just haven't got around to it yet.
    Me to, kindof/sortof.
I want to do it on a 50'r with twin diesels.
Not as much work and I don't think I could get Wildwoman to trim the sails.

    ;D
Both, life is too short to live a monotonous life.

You can be the powerboat guy, I'm under no time limit when I head out so I'll go without.
Either way it would be way too much fun.

    A little cryptic, yeah?

Great read, mate. I love your penchant for adventure, trying new things, carpe diem &c. You really should provide us with at least one travel story that we "wouldn't even believe." FWIW, I'll believe a lot of crazy shit.

Definitely look forward to meeting you one of these days in the (hopefully not so distant) future.
Looking forward to meeting you too dropper.
I'm sure we'll have a lot of laughs when that day comes.
I'll save the spinning of yarns for an 'in-person' time.
They take too long to write by the time all the background information is laid out.
I've lived for years in remote locations with no electricity, running water, etc. in different countries.

You're younger than I believed.. good read and thanks for sharing.. Don't know if I could sail around the world.. I would love the views of the different land masses.. but to be out in the open ocean with nothing but water to smell, breathe or see might be too much for me.

I admire those that walk a different path.
The sailing around the world thing won't be just viewing land masses, it will involve stopping and staying for indeterminate amounts of time in places of interest.
When I get around to doing that I plan on having an online deal where friends and fake friends can join up for a stint if interested.
I can't wait to do this.

Look forward to meeting you pack93, have a feeling that you're the kind of person that would have me laughing a lot.

Have been a Saints fan for a while.
I must like to be punished.
I decided to buy season tx because it's so close and I can feasibly make some games.
Vikings are always the top team, but, I love the game too much to only go to a game a season.
It's relatively cheaper for me to buy season tx for the Saints.
I dole them out to foreign students a lot so they can get the NFL experience while they're in the states.
This year the Vikes finally play a game in the Superdome, will definitely be a fun game.

    1) How did you choose your screen name?

Have been a fan of Tolkien for years and was going to go with Gandalf, but decided to go with Prophet instead because it would more effectively annoy some of the more uptight members.
could of been worse, you could have called yourself Gollum and really given us some visions...

    20) Up to this date, what is one of your favorite PPO memories?

Have laughed a lot on this site.
I get a kick out of the people that make idiotic statements like, 'the ballboy said...' and they're totally serious.
I also enjoyed the early early morning conversations in the yell with Del Rio, cogitans, dig, and others that stopped by.
I've also enjoyed the various moronic threads in the offseason.
One of my favorite team-related times was the whole 'poison pill' episode during the Hutch acquisition.
There are many good members on the site that bring a lot of good information to the boards, a lot of idiots too, the mixture of both make it an entertaining place to be.
that's one of the nicest things you've ever said about your fake friends on here... we're deeply touched

Nice to read more about you Prophet, long may we continue to see you on PP.O
    ;D
Gollum might have been more fitting.
I'm probably more of a combination of Gollum and Gandalf, now that I think about it a little.

I try to be nice, it's just not that easy for me.
