Re: " PP.O's Who are they really? " 20 Questions with AngloVike ...

    9) What other sports teams do you follow?

I'll watch most sports but not with the same zeal as the NFL but I'll keep an eye out for the following teams and their fortunes
Football ( soccer to my north american cousins ) - Brentford FC, Division 2 of the English Football League
Cricket - Middlesex - my home county and the home of the game in England
Baseball - Atlanta Braves, managed to see a game at the old Fulton County stadium in '96 when I was in the US for the very first time
NHL - Minnesota Wild - never seen a game yet but will manage it one day
One other I did forget about was Speedway racing - I follow the Eastbourne Eagles in the Elite League. It's a fairly well supported sport in the UK but also in Scandanavia, Poland and several other european countries. If you ever get a chance to watch a meeting then do so, you'll love it.

18)If you could live anywhere where would it be?

Either somewhere with spectacular views - such as near the Canadian Rockies or overlooking a lake... Minnesota's got 10,000 so plenty to choose from. On a practical basis if I won the Lotto then I'd find a piece of land down in Devon with a sea view one way and hills and fields in the opposite direction and have a house built.
    ......and a dock.
That way when I finally retire and convince Wildwoman that we need a 40' yacht, I can come visit.
    ;D

    Thanks for sharing my friend.

By the way, judging from what I know of you, I don't think you have to worry about your daughter and her future.
I am sure your efforts at raising her will ensure she is set for success no matter what the world will throw at her.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I usually never follow the league series. Only the World Champions GPs and the World Team Championship.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

    2) Anglo, could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family?

I was born and bred in Northolt which is a suburb on the fringes of West London and comes under the London Borough of Ealing, which extends from Shepherds Bush on the east side out to Northolt on the west. From Northolt we always used to think that 10 minutes by car and you were in a less built up areas which were more like the country to us at the time.
Isn't that also the name of a singles bar in Green Bay?

    Great stuff, my friend!
    SKOL and Cheers!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

rofl... well to be fair lets say that Shepherds Bush does tend to have a community that might not appeal to GB fans would probably appeal to a community such as SF

Interesting read Anglo, I have always loved visiting London, in fact I proposed to my now wife on a trip down there. The first time you emerge from Westminster tube station to see Big Ben in front of you, that's the kind of thing you don't forget in a hurry. I guess it's different for you having grown up with all those iconic buildings and places from an early age.

yet like a lot of people I didn't take advantage and see as much of it as I should do - ain't that always the way ?
    lol
Nowadays I'm not so much of a lover of city life - prefer the countryside a little more.
