    Good interview.

I generally have the same point of view as you do about the team. It look like we share a common interest in the shooting sports too.

Good to meet you Caine. I, too, love the Bourne trilogy...actually I love all of his books, the mosaics, continuums, ultimatums and covenants. ;D

Nice to meet you Jeff... Bourne series of books rocked, but the movies were okay.

So why aversion for the Packers?

Thought I'd try and answer a few of the follow up questions:

    That f&**&*&r was brutal.
I was assigned as a .50 gunner on a Minesweeper.
We were a part of the NATO forces trying to pull the mines out of the gulf.
Oddly, I was an electrician that was "shanghaied" onto the gun.
I asked the XO, "Sir, I'm an electrician.
I don't mind being the gunner, but why me?".
He replied, "You're the only psychopath we have". (TRUE STORY)

Since we haven't "Officially" been "downsized" yet, I haven't entered yet.
We qualify for Federal retraining (which includes 2 yrs of school) since our jobs were lost due - primarily - to the silly FTA's the Politicians keep signing...the ones that Obama and Clinton are vocally opposing in their campaigns (Although the Hillawench stumped for NAFTA when Slick Willy was in office...go figure).

Once we're downsized, I'll have to make a decision.
So far, Nursing has an odd appeal.
Probably because I can go ANYWHERE and get a job.
Oddly, I spent 14 years of my life learning how to put holes in people, now I'm considering patching them up.
That decision isn't carved in stone, but it's how I'm leaning at the moment.

    Ludlum rules!!!
Although many of his books began to feel similar, I find myself absorbed by them.
After the Bourne series, I am particularly fond of The Parsifal Mosaic and The Icarus Agenda.
The Matarese Circle and the Matarese Countdown are also high on my list.

No, she's also hot...that helps quite a bit.

Since you mentioned Penne al'Arrabiata twice I looked it up.
If this is the same dish, then I think I have a great idea for dinner.
That is indeed it...although I never had it with bacon in it that I recall.
You have to remember that in Italy there is typically more than one course for dinner, I typically followed the Penne al"Arrabiatta with La Cotoletta Alla Milanese (which is a breaded veal cutlet.
Lemon wedges are a MUST), then I'd finish off with Scarmorza (which is a fried cheese - slightly elastic and sharp, but awesome...eat while still hot).

Of course, that was when I was 15 and could metabolize that...now I look at the pictures and have to loosen my belt.

Especially since you said you wouldn't lend it to me...you were afraid I'd spill on it.
How's that life sized inflatable Favre blow up doll holding up for ya?

For all the fellow weapon enthusiasts:
Yes, I am quite happy with my "toys".
The Sig is an absolute dream to fire.
Nice tight sear (easier to double-tap), smooth action, accurate as sin.
The AR has the shortest barrel allowed by law - I wanted it more for CQB than for "reach out and touch someone".
When my wife protested that I didn't "need" them, I stole the line from AVP..."It's like a condom...better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it".

They're smelly, and their fans are inbred.

No, seriously, my Mother's side of the family is from WI, my Dad's is from MN...ready-made rivalry fodder.
When I was about 3, my parents left me with an Aunt and Uncle for a week while they took a trip.
My Uncle was a HUGE Packer fan, and "programmed" me to say, "Minnesota Vikings are Bums".
Weeks later, my Dad was reading the papers and showed my the Viking article...he says I stopped cold, and he could tell I was trying to remember something...when out popped the offensive phrase.
    I was promptly deprogrammed.
The rivalry has been on "Full Go" ever since.

    Best rivalry in sports IMO.

    Nursing is a good choice.

I do know that if I was in the hospital and you showed up I would be bummed.
There aren't enough hot nurses around and you'll be decreasing the odds of getting one.
