    I saw this on CNN.com.
Yes, it was a cheap shot by the player, but there is NEVER ANY EXCUSE for an adult to run onto the field and hit a kid.
    NEVER.

    That is pathetic.
I thought it was going to be about a couple of parents duking it out, which is pathetic enough.
An adult going after a child?
Hang him by his gonads and give him a public flogging.

Sounds like the ref was on top of the call.

There are penalties for breaking the rules nothing more is needed beyond that. If your kid can't take a late hit then he shouldn't be on the field. If you can't stand watching him take a late hit you should stay home, if the coach can't stand it then he should not be coaching. Football is a rough sport.

I'd like to see him charge the field at one of my school's games. He'd get knocked out!

God forbid that something like that ever happens at a game my son plays in...

If an adult ever took the field to touch my son, it would be lights out, I'de probably end up in jail myself...

To many coaches and parents get out of hand during their childs sporting events....

Ned, make sure you get video footage of the game when you're reffing and you have to take out a parent.
I'm laughing just thinking about it.

I saw that today on the New York news today, that guy is an idiot.
People get way to involed in their kids sports.
    They are doing for fun,
    it's just a game.

What a crazy SOB. He should be strapped to a goalpost and those kids should all get a chance to kick him in the sack.

i hate parents at games. why cant parents just show up and watch the beautiful game of whatever their son or daughter plays and support them to the fullest. parents need to stop living through their kids.
    We're bringing purple back.
