For Your Eyes Only......

Just wanted to let you all know, when ever you are doing even the simplest of construction projects, make sure to wear Safety Glasses..

I spent over 6 hours in the Hospital on Sunday having an eye speicalist drilling steel bits out of my eye. I'm okay and the eye will heal, but was told it was very very close to the pupil itself and was deep enough where if it did hit the pupil I may have lost site in that eye..

I usually wear my safety glasses, but on Saturday I couldn't find a pair in my truck and went ahead and did a job anyways..

I should have taken the time to drive to a local convienience store to even pick up some cheap sunglasses at best.......


Just a heads up for you all......One never knows when and when you least expect it, BAM it happens..

I work in an idustrial environment and always have my glasses on and earplugs nearby.
