The survey is skewed quite a bit.
I don't see how you determine who the worst drivers are from the number fatal accidents in a particular region.
There are so many factors you have to throw into the mix...and if you asked anyone they would say the worst drivers in the world reside where they live.
Speed is not the cause of car accidents...Driving too fast for conditions is...and there is a difference.
Until they changed the law I will never write a speeding ticket.
Nor will I be a money making pawn for any government on any level.
You don't have a 'Driving Too Fast for Road Conditions' law where you work?
I'm surprised, I thought that was fairly standard.

    I'll give ya Harrisonburg.
    I was there once.

Looks like between your post and mine we have enough statistical data to support that Va has the worst drivers
    ;D
There a green light means wait 20 seconds then go.

When they turn in someplace they pull way out like they are pulling a trailer.

I did get used to driving over the raod apples the menonites left,
I might be considered a bad driver though.
I almost hit a horse and buggy and I hit a schoolbus.

    75 points.

    Down here the following applies:

    a.
Wait until the very last minute to merge.
    b.
Drive the speed limit in the left hand lane with your cruise control on.
    c.
Yellow like means "hurray up and make it" or "slam on your brakes at the last minute"
    if you chicken out.
    d.
Red light means "you have 5 seconds to get through even though it is red or "slam on your brakes at the last minute"
    if you chicken out.
    e.
They take rubber necking to a new level here.
They actually break out the popcorn if thier is a accident on the other side of the road.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Yeah I noticed that there, they take there time getting the wreck of the raod, so you have plenty time to sit there.
Here they just push the cars of the road and let you go.

It does stand to reason. When I drove in L.A. a red light meant you still have 20 seconds to go thru.

Those people more than likely drove under the same conditions & are simply making sure no one will t-bone them when they drive thru the intersection.

All of New England is terrible, ever heard of a Rhode Island Right?

All of the soccer moms here in Westfield NJ are horrendous drivers too. The fact that there are bushes, or cars parked on every corner prevent you from seeing anything coming your way. It's like a guessing game of when to go.
