Are you going to watch the Olympics?

How many here are going to be watching the Olympics? I love watching most of the events, especially the hockey, Luge, bob sledding and figure skating finals.
I'll be glued to my TV starting with the opening ceremonies.

I'll definitely be watching the hockey (hey, I'm Canadian), but other than that, I probably won't be watching much. In 2010 though when the games are in Canada, I'll probably watch more.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

    Figure skating! ukeright:

I'll watch whatever I happen to catch. Really the only thing I care about is the Americans winning the most medals and the Norwegians winning X-Country skiing! Gotta support the motherland!

I personally think that the sledding events are the worst events in the Olympics.

Maybe its just that I don't really know much about them, but it seems that the only part you can control is the start where you run up and get into the bobsled. After that, everyone seems to just hold on for the ride, and the winner is the one who finished 0.00001 seconds ahead of the next guy.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

To see people flying down the sled runs at those high speeds with very little protection is something. They must be crazy!

Re: Are you going to watch the Olympics?

I'll be watching as much of it as I can. I'm paying particular attention to skiing, snowboarding, and bobsledding (because it involves more actual driving and control than other sledding sports). I'm NOT watching male figure skating. ukeright:

There ARE some pretty hot female figure skaters, though.
