this was honestly one of the greatest weekends of my life. nothing i love more then watchin boston fans watch the red sox loose. 6 1/2 and the yanks are never gonna look back. yanks win division by at least ten games and the red sox miss the playoffs. go yanks!!

very nice sweep, but it woulda been nicer though if it was done in the playoffs (i.e. an american league championship series). and it woulda been even nicer if they had lost the previous three games but then came back and swept the next four

why do i get the feeling this has happened before.......

and btw, the yanks DO need pitching. wang was OK. johnson was bad, mussina didn't look that great (and left injured), and good luck depending on wright and lidle when it counts.

I don't really think you have much room to talk about pitching, if I remember the scores correctly, and I'm adding this up right,your pitching gave up 47 runs in the firs t 4 games of this series, and the only one who looked decent at all was Wells, and we all know how consistent he is.

See, I could bring stuff up like you bring up 2004, Bucky Dent, Bill Buckner, Babe Ruth, The 46 Series against St. Louis but I don't have to because I could talk about 26 times we've won and a few times we fucked the shit out of you to do it.
