Maybe if some other teams had won 26 championships they'd have this kind of money to spend.

Doesn't bother me because it makes the Yankees irrelevant.

If they don't win the World Series, they're a joke. If they do win it's like "Uhh yeah, you bought a world series. Big deal."

Get used to it. When the NFL contract expired there is a better than average chance the NFL does away with collective bargaining and we will see the same thing in Football.

Dallas, N.E, N.Y and Washington all have or will have new stadiums and with the population and available revenue in their markets they will take all of the talent and the Vikings will just be a farm team like the Twins where the talent is developed but never kept.

The twins do it the right way. Maybe they don't win a championship every year or every few, but they develop players, play the game the way it should be played.

As for the 26 championships, do you realize the red sox have won TWO championships since the yankees have won their last. I think it's ridiculous they think they are entitled to win it every year. That's why they play the game, to see who is better, not who can spend the most, and miss the playoffs. If that was the purpose, the yankees would be in first.

How is being cheap, doing it the right way?

Yet they still have a better record than the Twins.
