Writing in runes.
Since we have a few weeks until the draft and things have pretty much slowed down, I thought everyone could have a little fun writing like the real vikings did. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/vikings/runes.html
Try writing your screen name in runes. I thought it was cool...at the very least it gives some interesting history on our team's namesake.
Hope you enjoy it.
SKOL!!!

Re: Writing in runes.
In addition to the alphabet on the left, you can write entire paragraphs in the quick translation section.
Getting a personalized jersey or some kind of Vikings paraphernalia written in runes would be kick-a**.
Perhaps even a runic section on PP.O?
Just a thought.

In the names you've described you can substitute the letter k since where c is pronounced with the "kuh" sound. Similarly there are letters specifically for the "ch" sound and so forth. The runic alphabet on the left shows the letters and their corresponding sounds.only probelem is there is no C... how could you do Cullpepper, or Chavous, or Cowart?
