    Re: Wrestlemania, Live results

HBK will always be number one in my book! He is definately NOT washed up. Too bad I can't say the same about some of those other guys who've been around for a long time (hint, hint: the Nature Boy).
Furthermore, I hope Shawn Michaels wins the match between Vince McMahon. Although, I must admit, with McMahon pulling all the wwe strings, I doubt if he really has a chance (and note: i am aware that wrestling is fake, in the sense of acting, but not the actual moves, if you know what i mean).
Let me know if Michaels wins that match, okay? I'm at work...scheduled until 1 a.m. tomorrow. won't be able to watch it.

    PurpleFavreEater,
how did that Trish/James match go down? I'm sure James didn't beat Trish fair and square.
Moreover, wasn't booker t's wife suppose to be in that match? What happened?

Are you serious bono? 90% of those moves are made to look much more painful than they are. Like when they get punched or kicked there is little contact, other than to make a noise. All the finishing moves don't even look painful at all, like the stunner, pedigree etc.

On another note, props to Brett Hart, WWE wrestling started in Calgary with stampede wrestling .

What I mean, Italian, is that, although it's all entertainment (the wrestlers aren't really seriously injuring anyone), these guys -when they get thrown out of the ring- still hit the pavement...that's got to have some kind of hurting feeling to it. When guys are lifting up each other, and then slamming them on the mat, they wrestler who has been slammed just doesn't softly hit the mat, although it's all entertainment, they go against gravity, and hit the mat at a certain mph. Even when they're falling off of ladders, they're human -i don't care how professional they are- a fall is still a fall!
That's all I meant. That's the reason why certain wrestlers like HBK (with the history of back injurys...causing him to question his longevity in the business at times) and Stone Cold Steve Austin (I think he injured his neck or something), etc have suffered some serious injuries.
