Weezer and the Foo Fighters at the Excel Energy Center? I saw FF a couple years ago at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium (right next to the Ex), and I'm thinking of buying tickets for this year. I love FF (I have all their CD's), but I'm just not sure I can afford to go. My wife is going to see Vince Gill (who I can't stand) with her sister. Should I get to go see the Foo?

You guys are going to decide for me!

Hell ya man, foo fighters rock and weezer is alright.

I like a bunch of foo fighters songs like learn to fly, breakout, my hero, etc.

I think its worth the money to see both of them.

I'm not a big fan of either, but I do like some of the FF stuff. Personally, I wouldn't go...but since you're a fan, 50 bucks doesn't sound unreasonable!

The Foo Fighters rock the house man. I saw them in Cols once and kinda am pissed at them because they were a no-show when they were touring with the Chili Peppers.
But seeing as Groehl*? is from Dayton and saw them at this small venue here(before the no show) and they just kicked major butt and replayed my favorite song at the time just for me I am willing to forgive them for sure. Plus the fact the Led Zeppelin was one of his influences.
Weezer is pretty good in their own right as well.

50.00 for a concert seems like a steal to me. I've been forced to pay way more then that so my wife can see her favorite bands.

Weezer is a good show, I have seen them twice. Once in Idaho for free they did a small tour with Tenacious D. That was the funniest damn concert I have been too. Weezer is one of those bands that sounds really good live.

You all know what I am talking about, some bands sound horrible live.
