What BS, a little 10 year girl being handcuffed for siccors. How can you depend on a 10 year to remeber to leave her siccors at home? I think the handcuffs was a little harsh, what happen to the good old days of doing work while everyone else was at recess.

Hey, I'm sorry but being a teacher (even though they are K-2) there are a handful of kids that I wouldn't want to have 8 inch scissors either! You don't know what kids go through at home and what sets them off! I'm not saying it's right, but precautions do need to be made!

Maybe in the states they will ban pencils and pens because of their potential to be used as a stabbing weapons. Or just maybe, they'll get rid of paper too because of the serious damage you can inflict with a paper cut.
