I'd love to see Croatia do something against Brazil; if they managed to hold the Galacticos of international football to a draw it would be the shock of the tournament so far, sadly I just can't see it.

    Good!!!
Kaka, Adriano, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo....that's the formidable part of the lineup. Let's see if Ronaldo is really FAT or not  I remember Croatia had a good run in 1998, let's see what they can do this time around, should be a great game!!

I can't wait for Brazil's game, there have been some good games so far, but it's time to see some real magic. Teams that have impressed me so far:
Italy, Czechs, Argentina and Ivory Coast
I know Germany scored 4 goals but but against a better team they can't win based on just scoring goals, their defense is too suspect.

Best goal so far: Rosicky's scorcher into the top right corner of the goal

Biggest Dissapointment so far: US (I know Czechs are really good but conceding 3 without scoring any, that's the worst loss so far in the world cup), another dissapointment: African teams, 5 of them and almost all of them(exception Ivory coast) lack the finishing touch needed to score goals, they play physical and create lot of chances but can't seem to finish it off and produce a goal, except for Ivory Coast(who has Drogba) the rest lack a prolific striker.
Disappointed by African teams? How? Except for Togo, the African Teams has played against the heavyweights of the tournament. None have been favored to win any of their games, yet have played well against great teams. Did you really expect Italy, Portugal, and Argentina to lose. Sure some goals would have been nice, but I'm happy that teh African teams are staying close, rather than coming out flat like Poland and USA.

Although Drogba is a "prolific scorer" one goal isn't saying much.

Best Players: Rosicky, Nedved, Cahill, Ahn
    Worst Player: Donovan, Abalo
Teams that looked good: Czech, Mexico, Italy, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Ecuador
Teams that need to do better: Sweden, England
Teams falling short of expectations: USA, Poland

Although there have been a lot of good games, very few upset wins, I hope the trend doesn't continue.

Fantastic strike from Kaka. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Love the fact that Leonardo, amazing player in his own right for Milan and Brazil and the man who recommended him to Milan from Brazil after he saw Kaka in his final season as a player and subsequently became a scout for the club, is an analyst for the BBC. Great views and I really enjoy hearing his thoughts.
