WOO HOO! A great day for Singer & JingJing - Visa approved!

Finally after 4 months of waiting, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) sent me an e-mail yesterday, stating the following;

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On September 24, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice.......

My Fiancee Visa application to bring Jevy (JingJing) over to the U.S.A. so we can be married has been approved!

This was the biggest hurdle we had to jump. The next step will be for her to go to the embassy in Manila, Philippines for an interview with the consulate & to get a physical.

If all goes well, she should be fully approved & be issued a Visa within 2 months. Then I can go & bring her to the U.S., hopefully in time before the Vikings season ends so she can see her first Vikings game this year.

She already has a Hutchinson jersy to wear.

In case you have joined the site since last March, JingJing is the niece of NordicNed who introduced us a little ove a year & a half ago & we have been engaged since last summer.
