Woman on scooter denied at drive thru
Tough customer won't end siege of Castle
By JAMES ELI SHIFFER, Star Tribune
It was after midnight when Ariel Wade rolled into the drive-through at the 24-hour White Castle, one block from the State Capitol. Wade rolled away "madder than fish grease" after the staff refused to hand over any burgers.
The reason: She was riding in an electric mobility scooter. The drive-throughs are for licensed motor vehicles only. White Castle says it's a safety measure that's standard in the industry, to keep pedestrians from getting creamed by cars.

Re: Woman on scooter denied at drive thru
This arrogant fat attention seeking whore needs to get a ride or go during regular hours. Clearly safety is an issue

Re: Woman on scooter denied at drive thru
Why does any respectable news site publish this garbage?
Get the fuck over it lady. Calling your lawyers? Launching an internal investigation?
Part of me wants white castle to let her come through on that thing and hopefully a truck comes and plows through her. Okay maybe not that extreme but for fucks sake."There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."

Re: Woman on scooter denied at drive thru
I hope the scooter momma can afford to keep lawyers on her payroll for a couple years. White Castle can keep this case in litigation for some time.
I've tried to ride a bicycle thru one before, and was peeved when they wouldn't serve me, but to sue? C'mon lady. :

Re: Woman on scooter denied at drive thru
I've walked through a Dairy Queen and a McDonalds Drive through.
Had about 5 people, we pretended like we were in a car, and "drove" up to the window in car formation (driver, passenger, 3 in the back).
Needless to say were were kinda intoxicated.
