Croatian police said she was last seen by neighbours in 1966, when she would have been 42 years old.

What an absolutely wild story. Almost unbelievable, except way too difficult to make one like this up.

This story makes no sense to me. How can nobody find her? Wouldn't the first thing the police would do is check her place? Wasn't she paying rent? What about her bills? How can nobody have checked on her?
