I sure as hell hope they will make it to the superbowl...I think we need to get the hell out of the Dome...that thing is cursed. We need an outdoor/indoor type stadium, and play outside in the cold...back to the days with our nasty D! I think that will lead us to the promiseland!

Without Moss, the chances of the Vikes making it went up.

I don't think you make it this year. There's too much gellin that needs to happen. The Redskins have proven that paying a lot to bring in free agents doesn't necessarily equate to winning.

But, 2006 may be the year. You've invested heavily in a lot of big players, and after two or three years, you'll find yourself in the Packers' boat: a lot of players who will want more money or they will walk, and you won't have the cap space to give it to them.

I'd say you have a 2-3 year window.

Oh, and if you want to make it there, get a coach that isn't nicknamed "Meathead".
Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?

    Welcome to the NFC North.

Dude, c'mon, I mean I make a trip to Minneapolis from good ole Virginia once a year to catch a game and there is NO WAY I CAN IMAGINE IT OUTSIDE. You people that live up there are nuts. It is like -15 and shit ... besides, players these days would not come play that far north ... I don't think ... if we were playing outside. I mean hell, it makes Green Bay look warm.

I think you will definitely see them in it. But to get your spirits up here is a hilarious qoute.

-“Joe Buck, BTW, is a whining, pathetic yuppie bastard who hasn't got the nuts necessary to be a Sunday school teacher, let alone sportscaster. His "Little Lord Fauntleroy" act -- on FOX network, no less! -- is what I find truly disgusting! He is the "Radar O'Reilly" of sports "journalism"! How can he sit inside a ballpark or football stadium full of tens of thousands of blind-drunk maniac fans going crazy, screaming, pissing and puking all over the place and say that Moss' pantomime was "disgusting"? What kind of a precious, sheltered life has this guy had, anyway?

Note to Joe Buckhead: Go cover "Antiques Roadshow" for PBS where you can have all the Grape Nehi and Moxie you can drink and leave the moral righteousness act to the Bible-thumping preachers.
If your Mickey-Mouse-Club morality can't handle the reality of American sports then go cover sewing bees and local bake sales for KMOX and leave us alone! Your hypocrisy will NOT be missed!”

    -unknown vikings fan

I thought this was the funniest thing, I sent it on to all the pack fans I knew and let them know how I felt.

 Yeah, I was 12 in their last SB appearance. I have a picture of my dad and I sitting on our coach before the game with hats, shirts and banners. After the game, I was so mad, I cut a piece of my banner off the end. LOL Cant believe its been that long. The 75 Vikings were my favorite team though (hail Mary), that team should have brought home the hardware, just like the 98 team. Since 76, we have experienced Nelson dropped pass, Walker trade, New Sheriff in Town, a Packer SB(schat), umteen QB's, Anderson miss FG, Blowout in the Meadowlands, Arizona meltdown with a GB win, 2004 fade.....I hope 2005 ends up in my home state of Michigan at Ford Field in Superbowl Extra Large (XL)!!!!!!

just beacuse my name is dixieVKGN doesn't mean I didn't spend my first 22 years up there...I know it gets nasty cold in the winter...outdoor hockey practices SUCKED! It may be hard to move back outside...more than likely not...we just need to get an "edge" about us...just get out of the dome!!!
