Thread: Wildman Was the Hero - And I missed it

Wildman's baseball team won 1 -0.

Unfortunately I wasn't there (working) to see it.

His at bats went like this.....

HBP first at bat.
Made it to 3rd.
No runs scored.
FO-8 second at bat.

Top of the 7th.
He was the lead off hitter, laid down bunt, beat it out.
Single.
Next batter bunted, moved old Wildman over to 2nd.
Coach put hit and run on with next batter, moved Wildman to 3rd (Kid missed the ball)
Next kid lined a shout over shortstops head, Wildman scoressssssss

Bottom of 7th.
Opposing team has guy on 2nd with 1 out.
Batter hits a blooper over thirds head, Wildmand, playing left field, makes a shoe string catch and throws it to 2nd for game ending double play.

JV only plays 7 innings.

Only the 3rd game I've missed this year. gol 'darnit gol 'darnit double gol 'darnit

Not at baseball.

Hitting .240ish and not real fast.

Golf on the other hand.

There might be a chance.
He made his High School Golf team last year as a 9th grader.


Coach sent him out as his 3rd golfer on the team.
Matched him up with JR's and SR's.
Finished in the top 1/3 golfers in his district the first year.

Usually he shoots an 80-90 on a par 72 course.


He messes with me and goes 5 iron, 5 iron wedge to a green.
Puts for par.


I really have to work to beat him sometimes.
(I mess with his head).
