    4. Minnesota Wild: Benoit Pouliot, Left Wing, Sudbury Wolves (OHL)

The Wild continue to try to add offense through the draft. With Patrick O'Sullivan and Mikko Koivu already in the organization, Pouliot is a great fit. The lanky winger boasts immense potential with his tremendous speed and quickness and lethal offensive abilities. He has the ability to dominate with his knack for making plays at full speed and forcing the opposition to make mistakes.

Pretty much only mock draft out there has us taking this guy.. Any news on him? Could he come in right away and contribute?

I seen that. I was wanting #1 so we could get crosby. Oh well. I guess I cant complain, 4 is better then any of the florida teams got.

Thank god that the ducks didnt get #1. I dont think I could stand it if crosby ended up playing for them.
The hockey draft should have gone by how great the teams fan base is. That way the crappy warm weather teams go last. At least Sydney Crosby is going to a team that I can tolerate and him and Super Mario should be fun to watch.

The Wild should select Phil Kessel at 4 if he is there.

I'm pumped also that the wild will pick #4 overall, but like most others I really wanted that #1 pick so we could get Crosby, especially if he lives up to expectations.

Isn't Phil Kessel that kid from Madison who'll be a freshman next year that the Gophers got?

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

I'm just pumped they are playing again. Now I can watch hockey more than just fridays and saturdays! Plus it is even more of a reason not to watch basketball. The xcel is the best place to watch a sporting event. If you haven't been there, go there!

Phil Kessel is not in this draft. He is in the 06 draft and will most likely go #1

The gophers are going to have a great year too. Gophers 2006 NCAA champs, Wild 2006 Stanley Cup Champs. The State of Hockey shows why we are.
