Thread: Why a proctologist?

Why would someone spend years studying to become a doctor and then specialize in proctology?
Seriously.

What do parents think when their children tell them they are going to school to be a gynacologist?

Given the choice it would be a no brainer.
A proctologist though?
You study for years so you can poke people in the brown eye?
What a shitty job.

Proctologist are specialists, and get paid as such, that's why.

I bet the field is divided in half.
The first half have had some brush with some kind of cancer or serious disease, and are actually passionate bout the field. The other half just want the $$$.

I've never understood people that do things just because of money.
I guess if that makes their nipples hard then more power to them.
