Why do you call Rob "Bryzcheapski"??

Why do you think Cook has a future?

    Why do you hate Longwell?

Are you happy with all the youngsters on the team instead of "Proven" vets?
I for one hate that he seems to always have alot of money in the coffers and we seem to always have some rookie on the field making rookie mistakes.

Of course you could be part of the mindless massess who will likely blame the HC for starting rookies instead of listening to me on how a real NFL staff functions..... ;D

Why do you think Cook has a future?
Because he has started almost every game since he has been drafted.
Additionally, back to Bryzcheapski, he has done that after being drafted by a team who plugged him in at RT instead of C (that he played at the collegiate level).

All the while, learning how to be a tackle against some of the better DE's in the league, making mistakes in front of our unforgiving eyes.

Again, if he didn't have some sort of talent to play that position I wouldn't think he would have even come this far.

IMHO he still has issues that need to be addressed, but hell if anyone were to really look at our OL (from a pass blocking perspective) one would see that we have some issues there across the whole line and not just young Cook.

Give the Kid a better Coach, one more offseason of film study/work with that coach and I am sure you will all move on to the next player you love to hate for no reason that you now seem to find more than adequate...........(Should I list them again?)

    Why do you hate Longwell?
    I hate no one.
Seriously, hate is a very nasty word only to be used in the direst of circumstances.
My evaluation of a players talent based on what I actually know from watching a damn TV and reviewing statistics doesn't quite get to the Ole Hate level my friend.

    Rephrased question........Why I want a better kicker?

    a.
His leg is is questionable during KO's.
Take a look at the average starting position for our opponents and you will see what I speak of.
Sure, he can get it inside the 5 and even the endzone at times but he significantly sacrifices hang time to achieve that.

    b.
Most love him on here because of the perception that he is "Clutch" when it comes to FG's and don't want a young guy (or anyone else for that matter) doing it cause they are worried the "New Guy" won't be clutch.
32 of 27 doesn't quite equate to "Clutch" to me.

Take a look at the stats.
Sure are alot of single digit (years in the league) cats at the top of the list with our boy down in the low/mid 20's.

    Again, no hate intended.
I just think this team can go out and find a better kicker.
Been along time since we had a guy who only did FG's who was considered "Clutch" and how did that work out for us?
    ;D

I like you Marr but you confuse me!!!
    Don't be confused my freind.
Over the next few months you will see me make lots of strange posts as I look at the following:

    a.
Production of players based on stats not how a fan percieves they play.
    b.
    Our CAP situation.
    c.
Who is available/will be available in the draft.
    d.
Who is available/will be available in FA (that Bryzcheapski won't loosen the purse strings for).

    etc etc etc.

The good thing to remember my friend is that I am just a silly ole yutz who likes to play GM and none (NONE) of my ideas actually will affect what the real Vikings organization will do.

I bought into Mozes, then Sullivan.......

Guess what, I am now looking at guys like......

    1. Alex Mack, Cal, 6-5, 315
    2. Max Unger, Oregon, 6-5, 300
    3. Antoine Caldwell, Alabama, 6-3, 292
    4. Jonathan Luigs, Arkansas, 6-4, 314
    5. Eric Wood, Louisville, 6-4, 309

Long story short, I just don't see this staff resigning Matt to a contract he wants, nor do I see them spending willy knilly in FA this offseason.

    In Marrdro math, 2 + 2 = a young Center.
Again, I would rather see a proven vet in there, however, just don't see it happening this year especially if they spend what little CAP they will have available on a guy like McNabb.

Just saying........(Pondering the facts based on assumptions).
    ;D

I really like Longwell for his FG kicking ability's

5/5 for 50+ yards is very very good.

Yea, just keep him outside the 50 and we are golden.
