Who's The Daddy? scottishvike That's Who! The Sequel

I love the Vikings, I have done for more than twenty years but that love cannot come even remotely close to the feelings of seeing your child for the first time, today I became a father for the second time to baby Emily. My wife and I decided to opt for a C-section at 39 weeks after having a difficult time with Emily's brother Owen (see here) when he was born 16 months ago. Thankfully everything has went OK so far as my beautiful daughter, well I would say that!, entered the world at 10.57am weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces. Two kids under 18 months? we must be mad ;D It'll be tough at first but I'm up for the challenge, but if I'm not around the boards as much you will all know why!

    HEY!!!! Many Congrats!!!!

Beautiful baby... she's got more hair than me too.

My sister and I are a little over a year apart also, and we are very close. She just lives a few blocks from me in NYC and we still go out to eat, go see shows and hang out all the time.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

    congrats.
Thats quite the head of hair on her.
Raising those two being so close in age will certainly be a challenge, but I'm sure it will pay off.

Yeah, when they are this close in age it may a little rough through the diaper stage, but later on they will be very close as brother and sister.
Until little sister starts following big brother areound when he wants to hang with guys, then it gets a little....uncomfortable.

Hey congratulations, scottishvike, to you and your wife. God bless your little children. If it's any consolation, we brought our 3rd daughter home when the oldest was only 3 years old. You find a way, and I'm sure you and your wife are easily up to the challenge...great news! ;D

    Scottishvike,

    What an Angel !!!!!!
You and your wife both have been blessed with a beautiful and healthy child.
I'm very happy for you both.
I'm lost for words, I always get choked up when baby's of friends and family are bought into this world.

I know just how you feel....... ;D

Looks like you both have yourselves the makings of a nice little family going on there.
I wish you all the best that life has to offer.
