    Who's The Daddy? ScottishVike That's Who!

    Yesterday I became a proud father for the first time to baby Owen. Mrs ScottishVike and son are both doing well after what was a difficult birth, due to the size of the little, or should I say big guy who weighed in at 11 pounds and 2 ounces. Unfortunately on the way out he broke his arm and collarbone and the wife had to get a few stitches, but both are expected to be fine in a few weeks thankfully.

    I can't say I wasn't terrified standing in the operating theatre watching the woman I love and unborn child get ready for delivery. Those feelings soon changed to absolute joy on hearing the wee man cry and knowing the missus was OK. Even as I type this now at home, with the two of them still staying in the hospital, the feelings of holding him for the first time is bringing a tear to my eye.

    Here's a picture of the little man, if his birth weight is any indication of his future size maybe a career in the NBA awaits ......

    Well that sucks with what happend to your wife and his arm and collarbone but congrats on being a new father ScottishVike.

    congrats man! my friend aparently broke his collarbone when he was born too and never kneew until he went in for xrays because of a shoulder problem.
