Where are the flying cars and moving sidewalks?
It's 2009 I thought this was suppose to be the future?

The year isn't over yet. Did you think they'd get it all done in 1/2 day?

Re: Where are the flying cars and moving sidewalks?
I was kind of thinking the same thing when I was watching "Back to the Future II" on TV a couple of days ago.
When Doc and Marty travel to 2015, there is controlled weather, hovercrafts etc.
When I was a kid, I thought that would all come true and now that is only six years away.
The future will soon become the present.

Just watch tru-tv.
As for moving sidewalks, jsut watch cops...the sidewalks on that show make many folks unsteady on their feet.A good friend will help you move...a best friend will help you move a body.

During our long drive home from Singers, CTVikingFan and I talked about how far this world and it's inventions have come in the last 100 years.
It mind boggling to think about what our Great Grandparents would see these days, compaired to what they lived with.
I don't see hover crafts or moving sidewalks in the future, but I do see cars that guide themselves to your destination.
Just get in, set your destination and your on your way.
This would leave you hands free to do as you please.
Hell, I could even go from one place to the next NAKED.......LOL
