Whatever happened to the Reggie Bush house deal?
Remember back before the draft two years ago when it was reported that Reggie Bush had taken money as a college players and had either bought or gotten a house for his parents. There was talk that all the games he played in his senior year would be wiped off the records because he was ineligible.
I never heard any more on it. Can anyone here enlighten me as to what the FINAL outcome was? Or is it sill be investigated? I know he fired his agent who was partially responsible but I never heard a final nail put in the coffin. I searched but all the articles left me wondering if it was ever settled.Kentucky Vikes Fan

I am not 100% certain, but I believe the house was sold and the whole thing was swept under the rug sort of speak.

I think everyone has just excepted that if you play for Southern Cal you don't have to worry about money any more. It's sad but it's the truth.

I don't think it ever was settled.
Last I heard was something along the lines of.......
What can we do to him, take away his trophy?
He's getting his millions........Type of discussions.
I gotta agree, not much they can do to him to affect what he is making now, but they could do something to the school I think. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Bush could care less if they wiped off all of his "senior" records.
He went to the draft as a junior

The NCAA and Pacific-10 Conference are conducting on-going investigations into allegations by Michaels and former New Era partner Lloyd Lake that Bush and his family received cash and benefits from the agency while Bush, now with the New Orleans Saints, was playing at USC.
If the NCAA determines Bush and his family received the extra financial benefits, USC could be forced to forfeit games in which Bush played and his Heisman Trophy could be in jeopardy.__________________________________________________ _________"They (the NCAA) haven't tried to contact me,†Bush said. "If they did I wouldn't answer the phone."
This is the last I have heard about it, and this was in early April"God has blessed me tremendously. I'd be a fool to complain."
"From what I understand, the coaches will put the best 11 on the field."
