You sure about that? I know a barrel of oil is about $61 and a barrel of bottle water comes out to about $80 but I don't think a gallon of evian would cost 22.00

You sure about that? I know a barrel of oil is about $61 and a barrel of bottle water comes out to about $80 but I don't think a gallon of evian would cost 22.00

I was quoting what i heard on Paul Harvey.

I went and looked at a conversion chart. 1 US Gallon = 128 onces. So, a 20 ounce bottle of water costs rougly $1.29 (little more, maybe a little less). This being said, that equates to approx 6 1/2 cents per once. Take that multiplied by the 128 ounces in a gallon and you get $8.32 a gallon of store bought drinking water; far more than the $2.25 or so you pay for a gallon of gas.

Anyways, do you buy oil in barrels....I didn't think so. :lol:

The reason people complain about gas and not water is because anyone with a car is forced to pay the gas price if they wantto drive, they have no other option. With water, you can get it almost free or become an idiot and pay for bottled "spring" water.

Anyone who buys bottled water either has to live in an area where clean water isn't readily available or never complain about money ever again in their life.
