I remember when they took this building down. of course, the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul had long since stopped using it.

of course, all the post cards from my county are of my city.
This is the Good Council buildings where the School Sisters stay for the catholic schools here in town, that building is still exactly the same.
My brother went to that highschool and I attended the catholic school system until 8th grade.

Ah the Hubbard Miling Co.... thats been changed some with additions etc.
The Hubbard House (the owners old place) is now a historic "mansion" here in town, someone wants to buy it and turn it into "high class apartments" lol

This is Front Street... about three blocks away from my house. Most of those buildings are still standing, a couple in the back of the picture arn't.
Mankato has really tried to preserve an essence of our old town feel in one area of town (which is where this picture is).
Before the "recent" expansion to the downtown area, what is picture here was pretty much what the downtown consisted of.
That area is now known as the "Old Town" district.
