Welcome Noah Thomas Singer!
Our little Vikings fan arrived Wednesday, Sept. 19th. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. & was 19-5/8" long.
Unfortunately, he was born with his little lungs not fully expanded, a hole in 1 of them & fluid, believed to be Meconium in them. Meconium fluid means he pooped while still in the womb.
He had to be transported by Mayo1 helicopter to a hospital in Rochester, MN better equipped to handle babies with respiratory problems. Thanks to oxygen being given immediately after birth, prayers from family, friends & fellow PP.Oers, he ended up not needing any special respiratory treatment in Rochester. He was put on antibiotics & monitored for 48 hours.
His breathing improved on it's own. The lungs expanded, the hole closed on it's own & the fluid in his lungs ended up being the normal fluids found in babies lungs at birth. The fluid in his lungs was tested & no bacteria or infection was found in it.
He was released on Saturday morning & is home watching his 1st Vikings game with us.
Shortly after birth...

Ready for the helicopter ride...

Resting much more comfortably on day 2...

Ready for the Vikings game (practicing TD signals)...

Congrats Singer. Looks like another generation of purple Vikings socks has been born. Great news that he was taken care of and is on his way.

I don't know how you can get it confused. It's easy......my son was born 4 days ago & my grandson turned 3 today. LOL!
