    Re: Welcome back, NBA!

I'm really excited about the start of the NBA season, because I think T-Mac will finally get out of the first round of the playoffs.

I don't have a favorite NBA team, but I root for the Rockets, because Tracy Mcgrady is my favorite player. I've followed him since he began his NBA career with the Toronto Raptors.

The Houston Rockets have been one of the most underacheiving teams in the NBA. But that's only because T-Mac and Yao haven't been able to stay healthy. And they haven't had any good role players, but now they have Shane Battier who will be our starting SF and should be a very good fit for the team. Bonzi Wells signed a 2 year deal and he should be a great addition to the team.

If T-Mac and Yao can stay healthy, the sky's the limit for the Houston Rockets.

cant stand the nba, far less talent than the MJ years.
Basketball takes less talent to play than football, baseball or hockey

I wouldnt say it takes less talent. I would say it emphasizes team way less. You can exsist in football and be a bad athlete because you have 10 other guys to feed off of. In basketball its a bit different.

    Apples and oranges probably.

The NBA isn't what it use to be, but there are a lot of young talented players in the league that are worth watching. (Amare Stoudamire, Dwayne Wade, Carmello Anthony, Lebron James, Yao Ming, and a few others.)

Last year's NBA Playoffs were very entertaining, and if you didn't follow it, you missed out on some great basketball.

Regarding the whole Houston Rockets making the playoffs: Well, it's possible. I wouldn't bet on it though. Sorry.
Regarding my Milwaukee Bucks 'not having talent': Has anyone checked out the new lineup? Heck, just out the entire freakin' roster!
    Micheal Redd
    Andrew Bogut
    Charlie Villanueva
    Maurice Williams
    Ruben Patterson
    Bobby Simmons
    Brian Skinner
    Dan Gadzuric
    Ersan Ilyasova
    Charlie Bell
    Davied Noel
    Damir Markota
    Chris McCray
    Lynn Greer
    Steve Blake
Look very hard at rhe roster. LOOK! Do you know what
this means? NO FREAKIN' EGOS (no "I" in this team). WORKER MEN! 60-Plus wins this season. I guarantee it!

    The NBA?
    They still have that league?
It hasn't imploded due to a fundamental lack of fundamentals?

I'll be at the game with bells on rooting against your boy. He usually has great games against us, but hopefully AK can harass him tonight.
