    phlegm, i agree that other countries should follw basic laws but they do not and wont until they are not poor---ie bison white pines walley waterfowl etc.

    I'm all about conservation.

    But it sounded like to me they catch them out of tradition, now though when they catch them they had hoped to release the adult male after stripping it of milt (sperm-containing fluid) for a captive-breeding program. Unfortunately, the fish didn't survive its ordeal.


    And so they ate em up.

    And since the attempt to milk the catfish failed, they ate it..

    I'm married to a woman from the South East Asia area, let me tell you all right now, there is no Nation in this world that spoils or disregaurds so much stuff that still has value as the ole USA....

    these people survive, by what the can catch and grow...Period...

    It's hard for alot to understand, unless you've lived there and accepted their culture and ways....Which yes , I have.....
