Volunteering
What kind of volunteer work have you done? I need to do some but I am having a tough time figuring out what I want to do.

Yeah I need 40 hours before the end of the school year.
There's gotta be some way to con my way out of it.

Call the local Chamber of Commerce for the town you are in.

Re: Volunteering
I volunteer every sunday from 7 A.M. - 11 A.M. at the local Animal Rescue League here in Des Moines. It is an extremely rewarding experiance since my love of animals is greater than my love for people.

Thanks PPE for the Sig

Re: Volunteering
I did some SPCA work, which was a lot of fun. I was on my way to "Senior Dog Walker" before I got sidetracked, haha.
Most of the stuff I do is with my church. I work as a youth worker and this summer I was the youth ministry intern. I spend about 3 or 4 hours a week hanging out with and teaching the junior high kids and once in a while we go to camp or on a retreat or something. It's really a lot of fun.

Re: Volunteering
I've done some volunteer work for the Arthritis foundation as well as the local food pantry.
Food pantries almost always need help organizing the donated food, and putting together meals to hand out.
