It's the next generation Windows computer apps & replaces XP.

Are you using a beta copy Webby?

    No, final release.
We got copies early from Microsoft.

We have the whole 2007 Office suite and that is awesome too.

    Huge steps forward for them.

You can get the beta version now if you buy a computer, with the final upgrade later.

I'm not exactly sure when the final version will be available to the general public. I'm thinking it's this summer.

Jan 30 is major public release. You don't get the beta on a new PC right now, you get a coupon for either a free or low cost upgrade to the release once ready with XP installed at the time of purchase.

I am surprised how well it runs.
I remember the XP first release, and it was, well, horse cookies.
