Viking Blow Horns
Anyone have one of those Vikings Blow Horns that make that really cool noise? If so, do you enjoy it/ is it a good thing to have? Also, where did you get it? I am thinking of getting one

Re: Viking Blow Horns
I have the purple one that is curved just like the real horn, it is cool and I blow it often during games, after scores, or after a victory on my deck so that my packer fan neighbors can hear it if they are out or have the windows open.
It is hard to blow and make anywhere near the real sound that you think of with the Vikings horn sound though.
also as an aside my two year old is terrified of it. I dont even have to blow it anymore just the sight of it will make her cry sometimes. I guess I traumatized her when she was little with the loud noise in the house.

I've been searching around and found this site. These seem really cool, but are a little expensive, imo. How do yours compare with these?

Got mine at the Mall of America for $11.00. When I went to the game the security guy told me to hide it because they weren't actually allowed, but he loved them. They are great fun.

They are not allowed?? So many people have those things, how do they prevent people from bringing them in?

You can drink out of it too...
Oh, and pattyosviKING is right, you normally can't bring them in, but sometimes you get lucky and have a security person look the other way. It's happened to me a couple of times.
I just had it in my pocket, and when I was patted down, he said "snacks for the game huh?" and smiled, and in I went.Proud member of PP.O since April 5th, 2003!

You can get a plastic purple horn at Dome Plus across the street from the dome. There's also a guy who sells "actual" viking clothes, helmets with real horns on it , .... He tailgates off of Washington Blvd, behind the liqour store.I seen him selling horns too. He's a little pricey, but has very cool stuff.
I ll be dead and cold before I m green and gold

Thanks to PPE for sig
