Vikes wallop Steelers PS2-style

I played the game on Madden 2006, like a real game (4 quarters, 15:00 each quarter), on the All-Pro level, and it wasn't even close. Vikes took a 16-3 lead at the first quarter, 30-3 at the half, 44-3 at 3 quarters and 51-3 final. The defense TOTALLY dominated the whole game!!! The offense rolled up about 600 yards, and here are some of the Vikes' stats:

Michael Bennett, 37 rushes for 217 yds, 2 TDs

Shaun Hill (Johnson got hurt on the 2nd play of the game and didn't come back), 23/50, 347 yds, 2 TDs, 6 INTs

Mewelde Moore, 9 rushes for 34 yds

Travis Taylor, 7 rec., 115 yds, 1 TD
Wiggins, 6-107
Kleinsasser, 4-48
Burleson, 3-57, 1 TD

Edinger, 2 FGs

BWill, 10 tackles
Antoine Winfield, 10 tackles, 1 INT (returned 68 yds for a TD)
Smoot, 3 INTs - Horse Trailer Player of the Game
DEFENSE - 5 sacks, 6 INTs
Cowart and Udeze, 1 Safety each in successive drives for Pittsburgh

Roethlisberger was something like 19-48 for 214 yds.
Bettis ran for about 75 yds.

Any way you look at it, a blowout!!!! let's hope we get something similar Sunday!!!

With a game like that for Bennett someone better check him for the juice isn't it more like 217 rushes for 27 yards. Sorry I could not resist.

If the actual game Sunday turned out like that then the Viking bandwagon would be jam packed lol. You must be pretty good at that game dude.

Let's hope not - sort of. That means that Johnson got hurt and Shaun Hill's our savior!!!!! YIKES! (No offense, Shaun and Shaun Hill fans!!!)

I played my neighbor today in a game of Madden. I was the Vikes and he was the Steelers. I won 38 to 10. He's from Alaska though, so I knew it wouldn't be much of a challenge.

That's not being fair to the CPU, turning their sliders all the way down for both offense and defense. Paul Tagliabue will hear about this.

Fason ( I use him over Bennett): 20 Carries 164 yards and 3 TD's

Williamson: 10 catches 256 yards and 4 TD's
K-Rob: 6 Catches 194 yards and 3 TD's
Wiggins: 10 catches 254 yards and 3 TD's

Sharper: 2 INTS 1 TD's
Smoot: 4 INTS 1 TD
Pat Williams: 4 Sacks
James: 6 Sacks
Kevin Williams: 1 Sack 1 Fumble Recovery for TD

Edinger: 2 FG
