i'd be surprsied, but I played MMORPG's for years, just actually got out of World of Warcraft after like five years on Final Fantasy XI.
I know people that have ruined their lives because of those games, I know people that have failed classes/not graduated because of them.
But then again, I also know people that have met others that they've been with for years now and are in love with (some married now).
Hell, one of my best friends & roommates I met through XboX live lol.
Twos sides of the spectrum.. very, very, very, highly addictive games, however.

Not because of the video game! It is because of that persons lack of self control!Quote:

I can see this happening. Video games are like a drug! But so is PPO!
their intimidating shout must have run out!
lol.
luckily my wife and i have our own internet addictions.
she loves this disney forum more than anything while i have many.
we both find our own time to do this where it isn't affecting anything.
surely if your spending 6+ hours on the interenet/games you have issues.
some people are lucky enough to get their fix at work while others have to find their own time.
since i work 2nd shift i usually spend time on after work when she and my 20mo. son is in bed.
when he naps i can get on too.
you just have to think of other people first, that's all, you will find your own time.
