This is retarded! Now, I will try to sound smart.

Video games have taken over, because of two things. The first one is parents no longer do things with their kids like they use to. We have to much technology nowadays. Its easier to do things at home. The days where parents go on walks with their kids or take them to the park to play baseball are few and far between. My parents, HATED sports! But they got me involved in hockey, baseball, and basketball. Nowadays your average parent is in their late teens or early twenties. So, when it comes time to get them involved in things, they rather sit around and complain about how their kids are taking up their time. Rule 1, when you have kids, you no longer have 'your time." Life starts to revolve around raising your kids and setting an example.

Number two, it is way easier to apply yourself in a video game then it is in real life. It is way easier for me to Play Madden 08 (not bashing Madden at all) then it is for me to go outside and hit two and three a days. Its easier for people to pick up the Guitar Hero and shred then it is to take a fricken lesson and play the real thing! The days of sweating and working hard to accomplish something are also few and far between. Now parents think, hell, if it keeps them out of my hair, I am happy.

NO AMERICA!! GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND RAISE YOUR FUCKING KIDS!! SET AN EXAMPLE!! TAKE THEM ON A RUN!! TAKE THEM TO THE PARK!! PRY THEIR LAZY ASSES AWAY FROM THE TV, THE HD TV, THE TIVO, THE XBOX 360!!
