Well they just lost to the swedes in the championship thing. Dang you SWEDES! Dang you to Heee-lll! i was just watching this championship bout on ESPN2 and though i don't really watch curling too often...this might be the second time ever--i must say there is some lookers on the USA team. and they are sisters: Cassie and Jamie? Johnson... cute.

GO USA! always willing to show patriotism.

Never figured me for a curling fan? hahahaha.

O well I guess it's bigger in Canada.

It's like lawn bowling but on ice - you have to try to throw the stones as close as you can to the center of the ring at the opposite side of the rink. After all the rocks are thrown, whoever has the closest to the center gets to count stones as points.

OK I just realized that I explained it really badly. Hopefully you can figure out more or less what I mean... :lol:

Its is also a little like shuffle board, but it is kind of cool to watch.

i actuall;y really enjoyed watching it. my wife looked at me weird but then she was watching it too. you should have heard the girls on the teams yelling after they released the stone. my wife had to come in the room because it sounded like swedish women barking and yelping.

Basically you shoot discs across the floor and try to get them the stay on a scoring grid and the opposing team can knock your discs off of the chart and take points away from you.
